I have been to treatment 7 times in the past year, and every time they recommended that I go to “aftercare”. The first 6 times I said no, and did what I wanted to do. Needless to say, all 6 times I relapsed. The 7th time I went back to inpatient, I didn’t even think when they asked me if I’d give a try this time. 100 days later, my family wants to talk to me and wants me to be around again. I feel absolutely amazing. I’m working a job I love. And others are actually proud of me. I am proud of me. I would never have made it this far without my Legacy family (the techs, my therapist, case manager, alumni director, and of course the clients). I’ll forever be grateful for everyone here and my strength to stick around and take the suggestions and recommendations this time. ~ Zach P

It's honesty hard for me to step back in time and do a overview of my entire experience at this facility I didn't hesitate making that rock bottom call. I knew, I knew it was time! For what? That didn't cross my mind for a second. I mean, I'm not gonna lie and say it's easy and beautiful and all that magical b.s. I will say it's worth it. The team is phenomenal. Taking into account an ever changing atmosphere of people with individual needs their adaptability was beyond reproach. I pay attention to every detail very closely and if you are looking for a caring well rounded place to get your mind right. I 100% recommend Legacy! I came to Ohio lost. My husband has been at Legacy and this center is amazing! Emily has been so helpful and addressed every concern I’ve had along the way. Her kind and patient demeanor has helped made a difficult process so much better and if you have to leave her a message she gets back with you immediately. I can’t say enough good things about her. Dylan also deserves praise as he doesn’t just address the addiction but what causes the addiction in the first place. If I could give Legacy a hundred stars I would. I highly recommend Legacy. Even if your loved one has tried treatment before and it didn’t work, consider Legacy and their unique approach to giving patients and families better lives. I would like to thank Legacy for the exceptional care and support you provided to me during my recent stay at the facility. I came to Legacy struggling with my cocaine addiction of 30 years scared and feeling lost and hopeless. The compassionate and professional environment at Legacy played a crucial role in the start of my recovery journey. The group therapy and knowledge were incredibly insightful and helpful. Everyone working there was incredibly supportive and understanding. The program provided valuable tools and resources for me to start my road to Wellbriety. Legacy healing center is a wonderful place to come and continue your journey at sobriety. I have had the pleasure of being around Legacy for over 2 years and they are like family. Christina, Dennis, Hanna, Molly, Megan, mark, all BHT’s and Staff are so appreciated and loved. They truly do bring the love and support we need each day to continue on the right path on this new journey we are on. I have been in treatment for mental health and substance abuse for the last 3 months and I have to say I couldn’t have done it without legacy. I truly am so grateful for this place for helping me get through one of the hardest times in my life and allowing me to get to the root of my problem. They have amazing staff and facilitators that do great work and truly care about your well-being. I have met some of my best friends at this facility and would encourage anyone going through a hard time to give legacy a chance so that you are able to “live your legacy”. The first day I got into the facility, I got to meet Bradley, Charlie, Sarah, Robert, and Jacob. From the very beginning, all of the behavioral techs and administration helped me along. James, Seante, Stacy, Reese, Brandon, Destiny, Will, Perry, Joe, Christian, Jesse, and Ebony checked on me and helped me have a comfortable stay here. Megan, Ted, Karma, Val, Todd, Stacy, Mary, Deena, Mark, Tiara, Ebony, Jennifer, and Tina facilitated great group or individual therapy sessions. As a whole, I felt safe and valued while at Legacy. I didn't think I would enjoy my stay but invariably did. I made friends I hope to hear from down the line as I continue my recovery. ~ COWBOY T

This is a great treatment center! I really have found my way here. The difference between legacy and the other centers I’ve been to is they actually care! The staff is amazing here and they all put their best foot forward. No need has gone unmet in this facility. They do everything they can to work around my schedule and provide the care I need weather it be outside appointments, legal issues, etc. The food is great! I want to really thank the clinical team because they have strived to solve my deeper root issues. Therapy goes deeper than any center I’ve been to before. They also offer a service like no other called brain paint and it has improved my focus and motivation more than anything else. I just really feel hopeful for my recovery this time around and I’m starting to love myself and I can’t give enough credit to the staff here at Legacy Healing Center! Thanks :) ~ Corbin S

My treatment courses were designed for me and tailored to my needs. From the moment I arrived I felt calm and comfortable with all of my therapist Ebony, my Case Manager Emily, treatment form the techs was a great experience, Sarah, Tori, Abby, Kelsey, Tameka, Joe, Christian and others. Housing was good as well. My main focus was depression, Anxiety and Trauma. The EMDR is wonderful and has played a role in my success as well as our group facilitators. Stacy helped me over come quite a bit as with Ted and Val. If you are looking to a center for Memtal health this is a great place to begin your recovery ~ Lisa T

I’m very grateful that I went to Legacy Healing Center . All of the Techs are great and very helpful. You feel at home because you can relate to them because they are also recovering addicts . Also the caseworkers and counselors are very professional, I found comfort in knowing they want what’s best for you and strive to make stuff happen . The groups in PHP are very helpful. I now have a toolbox full of tools to use in my everyday life . I’ve learned a lot about myself and my addiction during my time at Legacy. Everyone at the center was great, lots of amenities and qualified therapists and case managers! Could afford some better toilet paper for sure… and the housing (separate entity) could use some work. Charlie was one of the best techs I’ve ever met and I have met my fair share. The Alumni director Jessica was awesome to work with as well as Emily (case manager) and Laura (therapist). And Camp SOBE Well (chiropractor, massages, etc) was my favorite room in the building. Good place to get well all around! ~ The N

I really feel blessed to have started my recovery journey at Legacy of Cincinnati. All of the staff were marvelous. I had a great experience, you name a need and it was met. I met some tremendous people who will be lifelong friends. The camaraderie between clients is truly amazing, inspiring and life changing. I am truly grateful to Legacy and would highly recommend them to anyone battling with substance abuse or metal health issues. I was one of the first in the new Mental Health program. I came in excited for a new journey but scared to start over. This place truly helped ease my fears pretty quickly with kind staff and a desire to truly help each person who passes through. I had everything I could have needed to continue my healing here. A warm comfortable bed, good food, a clean tidy house, and a group of people who understood my struggles. I felt safe to reach out for help and the staff did everything in their power to make sure I got what I needed. ~ Bailey B

My time at Legacy Healing was a wonderful experience. I was there for 45 days and my stay has been life changing. Management (Jesse), My Therapist ( Courtney) Facilitators ( Stacie, Ebony, Jennifer and Maya) gave me wonderful instruction and tools that I will use for the rest of my life. The Techs were friendly and there to accommodate your every need. Tameka was caring and made everyone feel special. Her dedication to her job was above my expectations. Techs (Cheromn, Chloe, Melissa White, Stacie, Cynthia, Mark, Joe, Sophie, Lexie, Shonte, John, Katie and the others) became my family. They are all so caring and assured that everything went smoothly. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The program offered Brain paint, massages, chiropractic services, yoga (by Michelle) contributed to my overall wellness. On site nurses made medications easy to obtain and adjust. I am recommending that anyone that needs to get control of your mental health look to Legacy Healing Ohio. You will not be disappointed. ~ Robin M

When I arrived at the center (which is magnificent) I instantly felt so much peace. The center is modern and gorgeous, but the people that work there are so kind and not judge mental. The case managers and councilors are very wise and run great groups all day. People know your name and you truly feel at home. The techs are kind and helpful to get you everywhere and go above and beyond to get you what you need to settle in. In my opinion, this is contagious ..all the clients chip in to help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. ~ Dee-Dee N

I cannot say enough about this place. The accommodations, therapist and staff are a class act. Even the owner of this place greets you and shakes your hand. I have never been taken care of while staying sober like this in my life. From Christina to Tim and damian the house and apartment managers to the techs this is just a first class operation hands down. I found legacy healing center at the lowest part of my life , I was all on my own way from outta state and never knew where I was going , what I was gunna wear, work, live,eat,sleep , etc but I had faith and with the beloved help I had from the staff at legacy healing center, I've reached a dream come true for me. I'm over six months clean and serene and never thought I would be the one to make it out. I was completely homeless living out of tent in the colder months , stealing food to eat bad off on meth, heroin, and everything else I could find. I came here scared to live another day as I ones I was currently living and scared bc I didn't know I would not do that. This place loved me until I learned how to love myself. It's hard, but with this place, possible. I'm running and never looking back . So if your at the end of your rope, and just tired of being tired , this place will help you while you save your own life . Very happy with my stay. Helped with tools to sobriety via CBT mostly. Clean modern facility. House was small but nice. Good roommates. Hit or miss with other clients. Special shout out to Arlinda, Ted and Felicia, group leads. And Ty our House Manager/BHT. Need to be proactive in setting individual Therapist and family therapy meetings as well as Brain Paint. LOL, didn’t see any fresh organic juices and the catered lunches needed improvement(you won’t go hungry though). ~ Matt M

Legacy Healing Center is very flexible when it comes to your personal treatment plan; the BHT staff members are very helpful and understanding, Megan, the lead therapist is amazing and always has an open door policy, Emily the Case Manager is wonderful and is always willing to help with whatever you need moving forward with your treatment, and SOBE WELL downstairs does great things for your physical and mental well being. To be honest this place is very life changing it has it ups and downs but the majority of the staff and facilitators want the best for you. They really want to see you win and be successful. I came in here with not such a good attitude but I definitely have did a whole 360 for the better because of Legacy. The energy and the environment and the community is such a vibe and very close. One of the best things I did for my journey was surrender to the advice of the professionals. Without Legacy Healing Center I would not be a better version of myself and growing every day. Arrived the day before thanksgiving, they had an amazing thanksgiving dinner/party. The staff and group are very welcoming. Truly a place where you will get just as much as you put into it. If they you you are actually trying to grow and improve, they will go out of their way to support you and help you any way they can. The apartments are well maintained and they always have a welcoming environment so you feel at home. Plenty of activities and hang out areas. They helped me back on my feet and got me set on the right path for when I leave. The only things I think could be improved on would be communication between the staff of the apartments and center. Sometimes you have to talk to multiple people. I also think they should provide a little more assistance for IOP clients in terms of transportation and food assistance. But overall the operations are far superior than any other facility I’ve seen or heard about. Thank you for all your help and support.
